Last week we caught the world premiere of Gary Hustwit's film about Helvetica. Yep, a movie about the typeface. It was awesome. Definitely see it if you get the chance.

More.

Old country albums I love.

Picked up one of these at Flatstock in Austin. A limited edition screen printed reproduction of one of Jim Flora's most famous album covers. If you don't know about Jim Flora, you should. You can learn all you need to know at www.jimflora.com.

This piece was printed by my buddies at Aesthetic Apparatus in cooperation with Irwin Chusid (the author of two Jim Flora books) and the Flora estate.

Another kid drawing. Get ready because there will most likely be a lot of these in this blog.

My seven year old son Dyson made this one called "Africa". I think it is amazing.

Flatstock

Flatstock 12 was a huge success. Amazing how this thing has taken off. 125 poster booths this year and some of the best work I've seen yet. Thanks to all the hard working folks in the American Poster Institute (www.americanposterinstitute.com) once again for pulling this thing off. See you in Chicago.

My four year old son Jack made this drawing. I'm constantly amazed by the way his mind works. I think I'm the dude at the table on the right enjoying my bowl of cereal and oblivious to the impending doom.

Look for us in Austin on March 15, 16 and 17. We'll be there for Flatstock 12 (www.flatstock.com), a poster convention that is held each year in counjunction with SXSW. I promise, you have never seen more rock posters in one place. It is truly an awesome sight. Come by and say hello.

Just finished the cover of the Spring 2007 issue of 32 Poems.

...and go!

Welcome to my blog.

Everybody is doing it right? Thought I might as well join in.

Not sure how often I will update this, but I will try to keep it interesting.
